Institute of Information Technology

Institute of Information Technology (IIT), is one of the first two pioneers institutes/departments that started with the inception of university. The first batch of students were taken in Bachelor in Computer Science (BCS) and Master in Computer Science (MCS) programs. This year two new programs BS (Software Engineering) and MS (Computer Science) were advertised.

The purpose of studies in Computer Science/Information Technology is to develop our youth fully competent to serve as the backbone of the fast growing computer industry and to prepare them for the challenges of the Modern “Information Age.” To produce Computer Scientists/Professionals who can compete in providing services to the world market economy in software and hardware.
