Biotechnology is an old field but the recent development in DNA technology and other related fields has greatly enhanced its potential. The launching of Biotechnology at UST Bannu is to strengthen teaching and research in Biotechnology thereby assimilating the progress made in the world and undertaking research for solving our own specific problems so that we may share the immense benefits which the discipline offers.
